Our eTwinning project “Me and my world” was awarded the European Quality Label on 15th October 2009.

The European Quality Label is a second mark of success and is awarded automatically by the Central Support Service to schools in a project where at least two partners have already received the National Quality Label.

eTwinning Quality Labels are granted to excellent eTwinning projects. They indicate that the project has reached a certain national and European standard.

The students of D1 class (4th grade), with their teacher Mr Niko Voudrisli, involved in May with the topic of the endangered animals. They were divided into groups, chose the animal with which they would deal, looked for information and prepared a short presentation of their work in class.
Finally, the students decided to adopt an endangered animal sending money from the fund of their class.

  Greece is a country that has to present many famous Greek people known for their achievements and their influence to the civilization of the country in different domains.     

Since these people are personalities that worth to be acknowledged, we, the students of the 6th grade, decided to make a short presentation referring only to a few of them.

Carnival is a very popular period in Greece. It starts 3 weeks before the beginning of Lent and ends on ‘‘Kathara Deftera” or Clean Monday, the first day of Lent.
